Leading Hand
What's happening?
Horses want to drink, but they will not move until instructed to do so. It's your job to signal them what to do, while avoiding the dangers in the field.
This puzzle game was made in 72 hours for Mini Jam 205.
Controls
As directed by the game jam's theme, everything can be controlled by the mouse, in one hand.
- Drag hands in the level.
- Click or tap on a hand to change its instruction.
Game mechanics
- Movement: Horses only move when commanded.
- Scanning: Horses look left and right first, and then forward for instructions. On the first turn, they perform a full 360° scan.
- Goal: Lead all horses to a watering bucket to finish the level.
- Failure: You lose if a horse wanders off-bounds, receives confusing orders, hits a trap, etc.
Game jam notes
Made for Mini Jam 205:
- Theme: Horse
- Limitation: One-handed controls
To respect the limitation, we went in two ways:
- The player uses a single hand, by using the mouse only.
- In the game, all actions are controlled by placing hands.
Credits
- All dev and some minimal artistic touch-ups done by xmoby and chozoid, using Godot 4.6.

- Background photos from Pixabay.
- Music and sound effects from Ovani.
- Rancho font from Google Fonts.
AI Disclaimer
As it's common with any modern development environment and workflow, AI was used as a coding companion while developing this game.
To be clear though, this is not a vibe-coded project, and no artistic assets were generated using AI.
